I'm a visuals editor who believes in the power of photography to change lives, inform and influence. I began as a photojournalist covering rural communities in Virginia. Much of my work focused on long-term photo stories.
As a photo editor, I've edited tragedy, triumph, beauty and death, often within the same day. I've served as Director of Photography in Orlando and Denver, where we worked to develop stronger visual narratives.
Recognition includes the Pulitzer Prize, Angus McDougall Excellence in Photo Editing Award and Emmy Award for Overall Excellence.
